Its probably the best hostel I've ever stayed at. I booked two separate times, first when I arrived to Antigua and second when coming back from Lake Atitlan (where I also stayed at Selina). Very good initial communication with the hostel, they help with sorting out airport transfers. The room was nice and clean. Each bed had two pillows each and a duvet. Bathrooms were clean and tidy with daily housekeeping. There was amazing water pressure AND hot water (which isnt a standard in Guatemala). Each guest gets a voucher for a welcome drink. Prices at the bar /restaurant are reasonable and portions are big. The hostel looks very picturesque with huge garden, lovely architecture and a pool. It has a library, workout space, kitchen, cinema room, everything you need really. On top of that, they offer tours and shuttles to all major places in Guatemala. I booked an Acatenango tour with them and very happy with the quality and price. Would highly reccomend, people staying there are very nice. Would say it's a social hostel but not too loud and easy to get a rest and sleep at night.

I liked that the beds were very comfortable. It got kind of loud in the evenings from karaoke but it actually quieted down really nicely at night and I didn’t have much trouble sleeping despite being right next to the reception desk. They cleaned the shared bathrooms several times per day which was nice. There was a restaurant on site which was okay, convenient. The location was pretty good and not too far from a lot of the tourist areas. They also offered a walking tour for 10USD which was very helpful. The shuttle to the airport was also super convenient.

We had three different stays/ nights and stayed in three different rooms. The lowcost downstairs was dark and small but the superior in first floor was excellent. The downfloor based is good for one night but too close to music, people leaving/arriving in any night time… however I asked the music to be turn down and it was. All the services possible were available and the staff was superhelpfull. Go for a first floor superior room, if you are over 40 and do want to ejoy more silence, privacy and light:)

A great spot with a fun nice energy. It wasn't what I thought I had booked. Nevertheless, the place won me over with the amenities and helpful friendly staff. Lots of cool activities, lounge by the pool, cornhole, karaoke, playing pool, meeting new friends, pub crawl and a restaurant which is open for breakfast to late night snacks...to name a few. Regarding the photos-they don't line up with titles below!! Outside - restaurant -walking to check in - a view from the garden area

Selina is a special place. We had a provate room at the 1st floor, which I can only recommend. Not cheap but beautiful, spacious and very clean. The whole hotel and the common areas are beautiful, nicely decorated with a lot of services (co-wotking space, common kitchen open 24h, small swimming pool, hammocks in the garden, library, bar and restaurant, etc.) and events. Location in town is good, close to lots of cafés and restaurants. Staff is very helpful and friendly
